Marmaris, Bodrum, Göcek

Turkey is the ideal sail destination; rather calm sea and a favourable, predictable wind. During summer the Meltemi wind is dominating. It rises in May-June (3-4 B) and reaches its maximum speed (6-7 B) in July- August to go down again in September-October. It blows from the N between Kos and Bodrum, rather from the W along the southcoast.
