is about 8km/h and crossing a lock takes 20min . Keep in mind when planning
a route, you won't be sailing more than 5 hours, covering 30 tot 40 km a
day. Take into account the time you need passing a lock. The term to hire
is usualy one or two weeks . 10 -11 days' hire or short trips are an option.
