Hello, boating enthusiasts !
Firstly, our best wishes for a successful and healthy year 2010, with enough free time to spend as much of it as possible on the water!
Looking back at 2009, we can see that, in spite of the crisis and probably thanks to the fine summer, we had a good year after all. We are aiming to make 2010 an even better year.
We have a few innovations on our programme. Our fleet now counts 3 new units: an Oc 34, an Oc 37 and an Oc 43, with names associated with three dances, namely CHICA, MUSETTE and MAZURKA. Needless to say, they are all comfortable and sail beautifully. Do not hesitate to book right now, so as to get the boat of your choice and to benefit from the early booking discount.
More good news: at the end of 2009, we obtained approval to start our new construction work. It is a modern and functional project and will be located next to the present facilities structure. The new space, with its unique view over the harbour, will be mutifunctional and will be able to cater for party functions, seminars, events, etc. You will soon be able to follow the progress of the work on www.westhindermarina.be, when this site is up and running.
As usual, our boats remain afloat for winter sailing enthusiasts. Our courses start again in mid-March, for practice as well as theory (yachtsman’s certificate).
Those of you who like sunny holidays can book as from today in order to benefit from the early booking discount, and to ensure of getting the boat of your choice, whether it be a river boat, a sailboat or a power boat.
The Channel Sailing Team is again on the starting blocks to make 2010 a terrific year on the water. You can again count on us to provide a first class service.
As announced, the Westhinder Marina will soon have its own website, and the Channel Sailing Website will be revamped. A few more weeks of patience!
